PrayForGreen has no user accounts and wants as little of your data as possible. Here is everything we touch.
What we collect
Candle content. The token you choose, your prayer message, and your signature. These are public by design — they appear on the altar, shrine pages, permalinks, and share images. Sign as "Anonymous" (the default) if you don't want a name attached.
Payment metadata. Payments run through Stripe and Helio / MoonPay Commerce. We never see card numbers or wallet private keys. Our processors send us confirmation metadata: amount paid, a transaction id, and — depending on the method — the paying wallet address or the email you gave the processor (used for receipts and refund support only).
Technical data. IP addresses are used transiently for rate limiting and appear in standard server logs. We use PostHog and Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate usage (pages viewed, buttons clicked). We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers.
Cookies
The public site sets no login cookies (there are no accounts). Our payment processors and analytics providers may set their own cookies on their domains during checkout.
Who processes data for us
Stripe (card payments) · Helio / MoonPay Commerce (crypto payments) · Supabase (database hosting) · Vercel (site hosting and analytics) · PostHog (product analytics) · CoinGecko (market data display — we send them nothing about you).
Retention and deletion
Candles and their public messages persist as part of the altar. Payment records are kept as long as required for accounting and fraud prevention. To have a candle message hidden or to request deletion of personal data (e.g. a payment email), contact us — we'll act within 30 days.
